What is Epicor Perspectives?
Epicor Perspectives is the official global user conference for Epicor customers. It brings together Epicor’s customers, partners, and industry experts for a three-day learning and networking experience focused on Epicor products, solutions, and future plans. With nearly 400 sessions and extensive hands-on labs, the conference offers the opportunity to learn, connect with peers, and understand your industry best practices.

When and where is Perspectives held?
Perspectives 2008, our 16th annual global user conference, will be held October 19 through October 22, 2008 at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, Nevada.

Who should attend Perspectives?
Users of Epicor products who want to extend functionality and protect their investment in Epicor solutions.  The conference has something for everyone from IT focused professionals to business executives.

Are you accepting speaker applications?
Information and best practices shared by users is extremely valuable content that we look to maximize every year. There’s also a significant discount if your abstract is selected. Our speaker selections for this year are closed, but we hope you will consider being a speaker next year.

Are there any sponsorships or exhibit spaces available?
Yes, sponsors are included in Perspectives every year. Sponsorship opportunities are available to all Epicor Alliance Partners. To get more information on becoming a sponsor of the event, please email alliances@epicor.com.

How do I register?
To register for Perspectives 2008, complete the online registration form directly from this site. You can select to pay by company check, wire transfer or credit card.

Is there wireless access?
This year at Perspectives we will have a wireless hotspot available near the online communication center.  

Is there a smoking area?
Caesars conference area is a smoke-free facility. There are designated outdoor smoking areas.

Will continuing education credits be available
Continuing education credits are available based on individual state approval. Please consult your state board prior to attending Perspectives 2008. Epicor will provide you with a letter as proof of your attendance and the hours of education available during the conference.  To request this letter, please email perspectives@epicor.com.

Do I have to sign up for labs?
We have designed a personal agenda builder tool for you to create your own schedule for Perspectives.  The agenda builder tool is now live. Please use this tool to sign up for sessions and labs.  Please note that this tool will help us determine the appropriate room size and seating for these sessions, but lab and session seating at the conference will be available on a first-come, first served basis. We've made changes this year to make sure our tremendously popular labs don't sell out.

Can I transfer my registration to someone else in my company in the event I cannot attend?
Yes. Substitutions can be made in writing to Perspectives registration at  perspectives@epicor.com with the names of both the original and substitute registrant and/or guest. Substitutions may be made at any time prior to October 1, 2008.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if I need to cancel?
There is a $150.00 fee for cancellations made prior to October 1, 2008. After this date, the full conference amount is non-refundable. All cancellations must be made in writing and addressed to "Epicor Perspectives 2008 - CANCELLATION", and faxed to 949-341-4070 or sent by email to perspectives@epicor.com.

How do I get a copy of my registration invoice?
A link to your invoice will be sent to you in your registration confirmation email.  Please click on that link to print out the invoice to send in with your company check for payment.  If you need an additional copy, you can access your invoice through your registration record or email perspectives@epicor.com.

How can I pay?
Acceptable methods of payments are check, credit card  or wire transfer.

Are meals provided during the conference?
All conference attendees and paid guests with badges will have access to the following meals:

Sunday, October 19 — Opening welcome reception with hors d’oeuvres
Monday, October 20 — Breakfast, lunch and wine and cheese reception
Tuesday, October 21 — Breakfast, lunch and sit-down dinner
Wednesday, October 22 — Breakfast, lunch

Coffee breaks and snacks will also be provided at various times during the event.

What is the attire for the conference?
The attire for Perspectives is business casual.  The meeting space can be cold, so please bring a jacket or a sweater for your comfort.

How do I book my hotel at the Epicor rate?
To make room reservations, please contact Caesars Palace Las Vegas by September 29, 2008. Please note that rooms may sell out before September 29th, so book early!

Can I bring a guest/spouse to Perspectives?
A guest pass is available for $350. The guest pass includes entrance to all meal functions and all evening events, including dinner on Tuesday night. It does not allow you entrance into the conference sessions or labs. You can register your guest when you register for Perspectives or on-site at the conference.

Can I buy a guest pass for the just the Tuesday evening dinner and entertainment with Frank Caliendo?
Guest passes are available for Tuesday night’s dinner for $150.00.  This pass does not allow you entrance into any other meal function, event or conference session.  You may purchase this pass during your registration for Perspectives or on-site at the conference.
